In the park, Larry once again plays Scrabble with the old man and sees Wanda running with his trainer during what used to be his time. In the waiting room, Larry spots a bald man emerging and jumps up to get in his ass. Blaming the toaster, Larry insists they buy a new one. Over the course of dinner, Larry offends his hostess when he calls her out for serving tap water. Larry insists he can't imagine himself with anyone other than Cheryl and when Jeff tells him Cheryl is coming to Sammi's Bat Mitzvah (2). Larry finds an innovative way to use the HOV lane to get to a Dodgers game. Larry is disgusted and tries to refuse it but Marty says it's the only money he has, take it or leave it. Larry proves to be an incompetent Christmas tipper, while both he and Jeff prove to be lousy liars. He views it as a private thing, not to be discussed with strangers. Larry commits a 'penis faux pas' after a pool party, and Richard Lewis seeks immortality from 'Bartlett's Quotations.'. Exiting the office, Larry sees the woman he was flirting with is gone. At the first possible opportunity, Larry decides to foist the assistant onto someone else. As the two of them laugh loudly over the photos, Charlie the driver stumbles into the room, plastered. Unfortunately, these are outweighed by some bad luck and bad behavior on the golf course that result in Larry being blamed when Norm has a heart attack and dies on the course, and Larry killing Mr. Takahashi's beloved black swan.

Larry learns the ups and downs of dating the disabled when he picks up Denise, prior to realizing she is wheelchair-bound. It's new. An act of kindness results in Larry missing a meeting with an actress whose phone number he just can't get! The conversation turns to Fox's devotion to his wife and Susie asks Jeff if he'd take a bullet for her. When Larry sees Jean's small dog in her bag, he says it looks "half-rat," and Jean gets insulted and leaves. To make matters worse, Mr.Takahashi has caught wind of Larry's remarks about Ken's child. He suggests Susie buy kibble instead.
(4) Larry finds Cha Cha's interest in his bathroom habits to be obsessive and intrusive. They ask him if Jeff is having an affair, and though Larry says no, his voice goes up as he says it, and they take that as confirmation that he is.
