Google Chrome Worker
My Macbook had gotten really slow in the past few months. Had no idea why this had happend, so I went thru the activity monitor to see what was going on behind the scenes.
Then I found these tasks called the “Google Chrome Worker" which obviously was coming from the Chrome. No da, huh? And there were many of them. So I googled this word and came to know that the each and every extension software for the Chrome would kick this “Google Chrome Worker" task.
I see. So let’s go on a diet. I had more than 6 extensions running, so I deleted few and guess what? No more “Google Chrome Worker"! My memory usage performance had increased up to some 20%. Good good.
I will keep on to get some better performance.
