2013年末に自分のクリスマスプレゼントとして買ってみた。
ぶっちゃっけ、特に走る予定はなかったし完全に所有欲先行ｗ

詳細なレビューはググれば、rakeemよりはるかに気合の入ったブロガーさんたちが書いてくれていると思うので、商品のレビューはここではほぼ割愛。まあ毎日装着している経験者の観点から強いて話しても「着けただけでは痩せないよ」ということだけは声を大にして伝えておこうかw

で、ここで話したいのがNIKEのCS、つまりカスタマーサポートについて。

スラバらしい。

昨年11月頃にNIKE.comから直接買ったんだけど、1月にいきなり壊れちゃったのよね。具体的には長さ調整するために脱着可能な部分のバネが壊れて、バンドがカチッと腕に止まらなくなった。ほんで困ったrakeemはダメ元でドイツのNIKE.deにいき、英語で問い合わせわたけよ。

そしたら英語が話せるスタッフが対応してくれて、それだけで嬉しいんだけど、対応もすごいいい！！

で、こっちの壊れた状況を写真で送って状況を改めて説明したら「Okay! I will send you a new one!」とこちらが特にごねるまでもなく先方から交換を申し出てくれた。

これには正直びっくりした。

今回の故障は故意ではないのだけど、そういう人もいるはずなのに、そういう原因などはほぼ一切言及されず、基本的な彼らのスタンスとしては「Keep on runningするために俺らはサポートするよ！」といった感じで、メールのやりとりとかの文面でそれが気持ちよく伝わってくる。

たとえば以下がその一部の抜粋だけど

「so that you can continue to measure your running progress and strengthen your motivation.」とかあるけど、買ってから数ヶ月経つけど、1回も走ってねーし！！ｗ

「There is only one perfect road, and that road is ahead of you, always ahead!」いやあ、CSの人からここまで真顔で言われると照れちゃうけど、だからこそこの言葉が刺さったね。物事から逃げちゃいかんね。NikeはCSの末端までそういうことを本当に思わせるような企業文化なんだろうなあ、と関心したわ。

で、この体験をもってrakeemの中ではスポーツブランドはやっぱりNikeが一番だと思った。Adidasとかも頑張っているけど、やっぱりNikeには勝てねー！と今回思った次第。って、Adidasをそもそも買ってないから彼らの企業哲学とかはよくわかっていないのはあるけどねｗ
